- Hardware:
- Home:
- I have a serviceable, but aging, PB Technologies desktop machine running Windows 10, i5 processor, 8GB ram, NVIDIA GTX 960 card
- I mostly blog from a Microsoft Surface Book 2 Hybrid Windows 10 Tablet/Laptop. It has i7 processor, 16GB ram, 512GB SSD, NVIDIA GTX 1060 Graphics & 10 point touch & pen screen, and Windows 10.
- Got a Microsoft Surface Go Hybrid Windows 10 Tablet for travel use. It has a Pentium Gold Processor, 128GB SSD, 8GB Ram, Pen and Keyboard Cover.
- My current phones are a Vodafone Samsung S7 Edge (because I dropped my Windows 950XL and could not replace it) and 2 Degrees Nokia 1520 running Windows 10 Mobile. The S7 is my primary phone (and used for work), the 1520 used for recreation (hiking/cycling) where I don't want to risk or carry the newer phone. It has a slightly flaky touch screen (fixed by flexing) otherwise would be my preferred phone. The 1520 was purchased new retail from PB Technologies.
-
I won an NVIDA Quadro P5000 graphics card at Autodesk University 2017
- Work
- We use HP Workstations (Z600s) and Surface Pro 3 for meetings etc
- Microsoft:

- In 2013 won a years subscription to Office Home Premium 365 from Microsoft NZ in a Twitter Q&A competition:
We have our Tuesday #Office winner! Congrats @robincapper - You've won a copy of #Office365 Home Premium! DM us and we'll get it to you!

- Upgraded to MindManager 9 with software assurance which, renewed annually, keeps my MindManager current. I currently use MindManager 2020.
- TechSmith:
- At work I use a company owned SnagIt & Camtasia License
- I was given a complimentary personal Camtasia & SnagIt 8 license after meeting Betsy at AU 2006.
- I purchased the SnagIt 9, 10, 11 upgrades.
- TypePad:

- I'm currently a TypePad Beta customer and occasionally test new features before general release.

Software/services I no longer actively use:
- BlogJet: I purchased my initial BlogJet licence, the update to the current release was complimentary after participating in the beta. I now use Open Live Writer as found it supported some aspects of TypePad better.
- TUMONZ: I have a personal TUMONZ license, for use with my GPS, but also manage a network version at work. I now use Google Earth for this.
