Snagit a blog post…

When I see something which triggers the “could be a blog post” thought I grab a screenshot with Snagit. and save the image. Sometimes I use the Send > TypePad output to post direct from the Snagit Editor. Usually I tick “Post as Draft” as it could be days, weeks, months before the actual post appears but means the idea is captured in a few seconds. Windows 7 time in the future

One of the trivial, but favourite, things in Windows 7 (maybe in Vista too but can't remember) are the additional clocks in the System Tray. Create an “Update AutoCAD Architecture/MEP Project Standards” reminder

Both AutoCAD Architecture & MEP have Project Standards tools to synchronise AEC content throughout the files that make up project(s). These tools arrived back in ADT 2006 and have been refined over the years. They now are found in the Project Browser (below) and Ribbon>Manage>Project Standards panel (right). There are functions to manage object versions within Master/Project files, control how changes are transferred to projects and to import settings from a template into your existing projects. A CAD Blog banner to please the cat

The subject is nothing to do with CAD, more to do with mitigation. Piercing blue eyes belong to Casper the Birman and the snap below doesn’t convey the look of disgust when he saw the dog, Alfie, featured in the last header. Thanks TypePad, helping me support Kiva

TypePad have generously waived the hosting fee for my account again this year. This has enabled some Kiva loan contributions which I added last night. Kiva leverages micro fund organisations so these are loans, not donations, but I re-loan repayments as they accumulate. Google Feedburner, true or false, now or then?

It's interesting to note FeedBurner is reporting far fewer subscribers today, down from constant 3000'ish to 760. I wonder if it's wrong now, was wrong before or have I really annoyed lots of people today? I hope it's a Feedburner problem!
