I’ve had lots of visits from Franco Folini’s post regarding CAD blogging, AdSense income and rankings. He kicked off some great discussion about methods and merits of ranking blogs/sites in his posts and comments. While I wouldn’t recommend CAD blogging as a road to financial fortune there are many other benefits and I’m not going to argue with the ranking

Last Saturday afternoon, intrigued by Guy Kawasaki post, I put together a short list of CAD blogs for my own pleasure and interest. It was a simple list with all CAD blogs I read sorted by Technorati ranking...
As some mentioned the Technorati rankings only apply to “blog platform based sites” and favour links from blogs making them rather volatile. I have page view and feed stats and publish “anniversary snapshots” but they are mainly for my own reference. I’m still genuinely surprised anyone reads this at all!
In fact, I tend to regard the blog as my own reference posting stuff I find useful or interesting just so I can find it again. If there wasn’t already a blog named "Backup Brain" it would be a neat title. I’ve certainly seen some strange reactions when, while fixing others PC’s, I visit my own blog for a solution…
Disclosure: You wouldn’t believe how many times I’ve visited my own blog and linked to here from my other blogs to get that ranking up.
