Mindjet have released Service Pack1 for MindManager 6 which has fixes, performance improvements and even a few new features. A couple of the new features are now ticked off my wish-list. 
- When you export a Topic/Branch with “Send To > New Linked Map” the new “child” map created now has a link on the central topic back to it’s parent. I used to add these links manually as they are great when you have an “Index Map” referencing other maps. One click gets you back to the Index.
- MindManager Alerts linked to Outlook now show the source map in the notes section.
Lotus Notes users will be pleased to see what may become known as the “Eric Mack Pack”. Keep an eye on Eric’s blog for more on this.
- To get the correct update use the MindManager Menu “Help > Check for updates”.

MM6 SP1 requires Add-ins to work with the Primary Interop Assembly. I have no idea what that programmer speak means but you can learn about it here in detail if you desire. For users it just means you may have to update 3rd party MindManager Add-in’s.
- Check with your Add-in supplier for updates.
- Mindjet Labs add-ins which require updating have “Updated to work with Primary Interop Assembly” in the Revision History.
