I just cancelled my print subscription to Car (magazine U.K.). I have been buying it monthly, one way or another, since February 1979. It was probably the Fiat 131 Racing on the cover which first got 13-year-old Robin’s attention, but the contents had me hooked. **
It's not because of their product, more than physical delivery has been so erratic and have lost interest in what the motoring industry has become. I don't care about dull SUVs, Utes, yet another iteration of Porsche 911 or overcooked overweight cars, both ICE and electric, which are irrelevant to what I like about motoring.
I have replaced it with the digital www.the-intercooler.com which covers some of that but also a much wider variety of auto related topics. I have been subscribing to it for more than a year and it has some ex-Car (and other Aussie & British car mag) writers. Even some from the days when I first started buying car mags like Mel Nichols, Gavin Green, Ben Oliver, Peter Robinson etc.
It's subscriber only and advert free, another bonus. I did attempt to buy a digital edition of Car, but their website would never complete the transaction and I gave up.
Updated 2023-03-31: Finally got the Car Magazine site to let me try the Digital Edition, will see how it goes for a while...

** I must admit the fence graffiti 'God Bless Mindless Vandalism' stuck in my mind, especially when the (Aussie) editor said it was first seen on a church fence back in OZ.
