I saw a tweet comparing U.S.A. / U.K. road toll statistics: I'd say you wouldn't want to drive on US roads on holiday this summer. The UK has a population of 65m; the US is six times bigger at 325m. However, deaths on UK roads were 1792 in 2016 but in the US it was 37,461 – that's 20 times as many.
