I don't read much fiction, typically male I'm told, but have enjoyed Derek Hansen's "Remember Me". Set in Auckland in the 50's it is a bit before my time but mentions many places I know. Sitting the shade with a cool drink and a good book is a nice way to spend some holiday time.
