- I own an ActiveWords Plus license. This was updated to ActiveWords 2 as a reward for participating in the beta.
- Advertising:
- Advertising profit from my blogs is donated to charities of my choice. Some goes to the RobiNZ Blog Kiva Team but I also make one off donations to specific campaigns.
- In May 2012 RobiNZ CAD Blog joined the TenLinks Extended Advertising Media (TEAM) program. Details at http://www.tenlinks.com/mediakit/
- My personal & index blogs run Google AdSense and/or Amazon Associates adverts.

- I own, on subscription, a Building Design Suite Premium license. I previously owned (in order of upgrade): Autosketch, AutoCAD LT, Architectural Desktop + Viz, AutoCAD Revit Architecture Suite + 3ds Max Design Licenses.
- The company I work for owns AutoCAD Architecture & Building Design Suite Premium Licenses on Subscription. We use Autodesk Design Review for intranet store plan viewing.
- Autodesk University Las Vegas:
- AU 2004: Attended with some TWL subsidy (conference fee)
- AU 2005: Attended at own expense
- AU 2006: Attended on an Autodesk Scholarship courtesy of the AutoCAD Platform group
- AU 2007: Attended at own expense but on TWL time.
- AU 2009: Attended courtesy of TWL (thanks Matt!)
- AU 2010: Attended partially at own expense. I booked for AU & Flights in September but in late October Autodesk invited me as "Media" and refunded the conference fee.
- AU 2011: Attending partially at own expense. Autodesk invited me as "Media" covering the 3 day conference fee, 3 nights accommodation. I am paying for flights, additional accommodation and all other expenses.

- I have a serviceable, but aging, i5 PB Technologies desktop machine running Windows 8 64.
- I mostly blog from a Samsung NC110 Netbook on Windows 7 Starter!
- My current phone is an aging, literally cracking up, Apple iPhone 3GS.
- Work: The Warehouse Limited specifies HP hardware. Desktops are HP Z600/620 Workstations and I have a HP 8740w Mobile Workstation running Windows 7 64. We also have an old HP Convertible Tablet PC Windows 7.

- I currently own Office 2010 Pro. I upgraded from Office 2000 Pro via attending the Microsoft 2007 Technical Briefing Session at own time/expense. The admission fee included a choice of Office 2007 or Vista – I chose Office. Then upgraded to 2010 because I missed the Ribbon in Outlook.
- I won a years subscription to Office Home Premium 365 from Microsoft NZ in a Twitter Q&A competition:

- I received a MindManager 7 Pro upgrade & T-Shirt courtesy of Mindjet after beta testing that release
- I purchased JCV Gantt, the special bundle offer after it was acquired by Mindjet
- I received a MindManager 8 Pro upgrade courtesy of Mindjet after beta testing that release
- Upgraded to MindManager 9 with software assurance, which delivered MindManager 2012 in October 2011 and "Mindjet" (MindManager 11) in October 2012.

- At work I use a company owned Camtasia & SnagIt License
- I was given a complimentary personal Camtasia & SnagIt 8 license after meeting Betsy at AU 2006.
- I purchased the SnagIt 9 upgrade.

havehad a trial screencast.com account provided by TechSmith - I was involved in the Snagit 10 Beta, thanks to Super Evangelist Betsy Weber for the evaluation upgrade for my Snagit 9 licence and a Camtasia 7 License for blog use.

- I am the Retail Design Team Manager for The Warehouse Group. The role involves Retail Development, Store, Fitting design & CAD Management.

- I'm a TypePad user, pro account, contributed to the TypePad Customer Advisory Board (CAB) when it was active.
- Thanks to TypePad for waiving the hosting costs for this blog. The fee value is donated to Kiva, funding micro finance loans around the world. Repayments are re-loaned, less a small donation (generally 5%) to Kiva for service costs.

Software/services I no longer actively use
- BlogJet: I purchased my initial BlogJet licence, the update to the current release was complimentary after participating in the beta. I now use Microsoft Live Writer as found it supported some aspects of TypePad better.
- TUMONZ: I have a personal TUMONZ license, for use with my GPS, but also manage a network version at work. I now use Google Earth for this.
