Windows Live Local offers New Zealand Streets and Route finding
Microsoft Windows Live Local (Gasp, what a clunky name) now has New Zealand street mapping and driving route finding. It includes major roads and state highways, along with cities and suburbs but I can’t get it to show street names on the map! (any ideas?)
If you enter two addresses it will locate them and does a reasonable job of finding the shortest or quickest route. The image shows the route from Queen Street to Auckland International Airport (NZAA). Not quite perfect (the first offramp will not terminate on Broadway) but other than that it’s Ok.
